Palo Alto

The central area of the house is an open floor plan that includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

This design features a functional layout with two wings and a central courtyard. It offers an open-plan common area that seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for family living and entertaining. The exterior has a modern look with clean lines, large windows, and a covered porch. Inside, the children's wing includes two rooms connected by a shared bathroom. The master's area comprises a spacious bedroom, a study/home office, a laundry, and a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in closet. The backyard, connected with the master's area, includes a private jacuzzi, lush garden, outdoor shower, and a separate gym.

25th San Mateo

It was a fascinating project! We added new elements to an existing house maintaining its original structure.

A guest bedroom with a bathroom was added on the first level providing comfort and privacy for visitors, while the open kitchen and family room on the second level offers a spacious and inclusive gathering area for daily activities. The connection between the family room and the terrace through a bi-fold door enhances the overall living experience by extending the living space outdoors.

Open Concept: Create a spacious, open layout that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining area, and living room, allowing for a cohesive and social atmosphere.

 

Natural Light: Incorporate ample windows and glass doors to maximize natural light and create a bright and airy space.

Maintain the distinct Mediterranean architectural elements such as stucco walls, windows, and clay tile roof to preserve the charm of the original home.
Add a second story that seamlessly integrates with the existing structure, maintaining the overall aesthetic balance. Create an inviting entrance with a covered porch featuring decorative wood beams and a beautiful front door.
